Announcing Our New Management Committee for 2024
Our 2024/2025 Management Committee and New Flag Officers
We are delighted to share the results of the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron's 2024 Annual General Meeting, held on Sunday, July 21st, 2024. We welcomed a strong turnout of active members who voted for their representation for the 2024/2025 Season.
We are proud to introduce our newly elected Management Committee:
Commodore: Alan Down (Salacia)
Rear Commodore: Owen Haskett (First Light)
Treasurer: Richard Colebatch (Aqua Lass, More Gomas)
Management Committee Members: Mark Evans (Summerwind), Steve Martin (Take 5), and Robert Henshall (Silver Fox)
Their combined expertise and passion for sailing promise an exciting future for our Squadron.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing Committee members for their dedication and hard work. Their efforts have been instrumental in steering the Squadron through another successful year.
A special thank you goes to our outgoing Commodore, Ian Roberts (Bowline), who completed his two-year term with distinction. Ian's leadership and commitment have left a lasting impact on our community, and we are deeply appreciative of his service.
As we look forward to the coming year, we are confident that our new Management Committee will continue to build on the strong foundation laid by their predecessors. Together, we will navigate towards new horizons and ensure the ongoing success of the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron.
